Legal basis: § 154 of the Code of Enforcement Procedure.
 
A person who wishes to purchase a movable at an oral auction of the movable may, until the beginning of the auction, submit to a bailiff a written bid that will set out the data listed in subsection 86 (1) of this Act and the registry part number and location of the movable. A written bid must be submitted in a closed envelope marked “Auction” and including a reference to the object of the auction. The envelope will be opened at the oral auction.
